Boreanaz Reveals "Bones" Season 4 Renewal, Possible Foreign Location David Boreanaz and "Bones" creator Hart Hanson report that the series has just received its season 4 renewal for 20 episodes -- with the popular Fox network show looking likely to location abroad next season. "Some of the contenders are Spain, Monaco, Italy -- it just depends on how it gets put together," Hanson says of the show, which also stars Emily Deschanel.
First, however, there's season 3 to complete. "Bones" heads back into its post-WGA-strike production Tuesday (March 25) to shoot six more episodes for t 05th Feb 2008 FOX Press Release JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED HOUSES
RECORD-SETTING POST-SUPER BOWL EPISODE FROZEN BONES ORIGINAL EPISODES TO BEGIN AIRING MONDAY, APRIL 14, LEADING INTO CANTERBURYS LAW FOX will air an encore of the record-setting HOUSE episode Frozen, which originally aired following the Super Bowl, on Friday, Feb. 15 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). In addition, HOUSE encores will continue airing Fridays (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) through April 18. All-new episodes of BONES will return to the FOX schedule on Monday, April 14 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) leading into the previously announced series premiere of CANTERBURYS LAW (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). Sunday nights HOUSE was the shows highest rated episode ever across all demos and the highest rated scripted program on any network in two years among Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers. Additionally, the episode was FOXs highest rated scripted series telecast in over 10 years in Adults 18-49 as well as in 11 years in Total Viewers. Frozen features guest star Mira Sorvino as a psychiatrist trapped at the South Pole who must rely on Dr. House to diagnose and treat her deadly illness via webcam. Emmy Award-winning HOUSE is from Heel and Toe Films, Shore Z Productions and Bad Hat Harry Productions in association with Universal Media Studios. Katie Jacobs, David Shore, Paul Attanasio, Bryan Singer, Russel Friend, Garrett Lerner and Thomas L. Moran are executive producers. BONES is from Far Field Productions and Josephson Entertainment in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Hart Hanson, Barry Josephson and Stephen Nathan are executive producers. 4th January 2008 A reliable source at Fox confirms reports that the final three pre-strike episodes of Bones are being held until May sweeps. Sucky, right? Wait, there's more. The show is relocating to Mondays at 8 pm, where it will be followed by original installments of the Julianna Margulies courtroom drama Canterbury's Law. The Bones/CLAW combo kicks off on April 28. (This season, May sweeps runs from April 24 to May 21. Call it Mapril sweeps.) The decision to hold Bones until May is the clearest sign yet that Fox is bracing for a long strike. But with that depressing news out of the way, here's a little silver lining to cheer you up: Those three pre-strike Bones eppys are being joined by a fourth never-before-seen installment. Per my source, the infamous school-shooting-themed outing that was pulled last season in the wake of the Virginia Tech massacre has been "tweaked slightly" and is scheduled to see the light of day in May. 3rd January 2008 FOX has issued an addendum to yesterday's midseason schedule announcement which puts new episodes of "Bones" on Mondays at 8:00/7:00c starting April 28. The four week run, featuring the remaining completed episodes of the series, will serve as a lead in to newcomer "Canterbury's Law" at 9:00/8:00c on said dates - April 28, May 5, May 12 and May 19. Until then, repeats of "Bones" will fill the 8:00/7:00c hour on Friday nights beginning tomorrow (with a shift to 9:00/8:00c starting March 14).
