Site Update and Fightstar
Howdy folks. Its been a fair few weeks, I have been listening to the new album over and over and its become amazing, I wasn't too sure at first about some of the tracks but I've had to warm to this album and have pulled the full glory of the sound out of the bag. If you haven't already ordered it PLEASE, PLEASE do you won't be dissapointed.
Anyway a few things, I have added some more interviews to the interview section, also updated the Fightstar Exclusive area, with images and some new stuff for your pleasures.
I'm just in the process of getting the tour dates area sorted out and start adding the Festival dates up and coming with times and where they're playing on the day.
I'm also under impression that most people know Fightstar have recorded the video to their third upcoming single release 'Never Change' which as of yet hasn't been confirmed for a release date, but more than likely be a June release. If you would like to keep a look out on MTV2, Scuzz and Kerrang for the video please do. As it won't be long until its on. And then please start to vote for it to get it to Number 1 like The English Way and Mercury Summer, Lets see if we can keep it up at the top for longer than 3 weeks.
Anyway I'll be pottering around over the next few days and will let you know of any other things I will add, I will get the damn lyrics section finished. I PROMISE.

Site Update and News
Hello fellow fans alike.
Well its been a hell of along time, but your wait is over 'Be Human' is finally upon us. For some lucky people they recieved their copys on Friday from recordstore, others managed to grab it through a leaked source.
If you haven't yet ordered it please do so as its amazing album with abit of everything for everyone.
Theirs also a Bonus album track available on itunes if you plan to download it digitally, Unfamiliar Cielings featuring Katie P of Kerrang, she sounds amazing so make sure you purchase this also. for 79p you can't complain.
On that note I'd like to say that the lyric section is opened and has the Be Human Lyrics available. some have been written by fans so they could soon change if they're wrong.
The Black Board has its own section now and is still available to use if you so wish to do so.
Hope you enjoy the album its very different ;)
Mercury summer is still also avialable to buy so make sure you go grab yourself a copy.

FIGHTSTAR HISTORY IN THE MAKING
OOO well a new update that is fightstar history, Fightstar have just hit the A lists on Radio 1 the best news since the Band got together, and from us over here a MASSIVE congratulations, it makes me proud to be a fan.
Also the new BETA v2 site is coming along nicely, one of the best creations to date, dark yet useful and the easiest site to navigate around to date, with more areas that are going to be complete bringing you the best source for fightstar yet.
Who ever is going to the switch show tomorrow have a fantastic time.
A new site competition is going up within a few weeks so keep your peeps peeled for that.
Look to update you further in a few days with other bits of interesting news.

BE HUMAN ALBUM REVIEW AND TRACKLISTINGS
| I'm a little early on this review but i wanted to give everyone a Track by Track analysis. Not too long after their latest studio album “One Day Son, This Will All Be Yours,” Fightstar released a “Alternate Endings” and now they return with their new album “Be Human.” I love how this band comes out with albums so fast. All I can say for the die hard fans is expect the unexpected on this album. Overall not one of the heaviest records to date but has a view nasty numbers and not overdone with structures they have only hinted at before. This couldn’t be at a better time for the band, showing full on orchestrations that give it a movie soundtrack vibe and with those classic catchy choruses to make it one of the best from Fightstar to date. From the opening track “Calling on all Stations,” the band starts the album with a haunting violin that kicks into an urgent state of power. The driving elements of this song make it a memorable one. Next is “The English Way” and if you haven’t heard this tune then log on to their MySpace as its one of their best singles. “War Machine” starts slow with clean guitars and an almost soundtrack-like background. As Charlie belts out “Another War Machine, Another War Machine” the orchestra rolls in the background; speaking in terms of Silverchair’s “Diorama.” The heavy comes in about half way as Simpson yells from the top of his lungs with some screams in the background. “Never Change” is one of the most pop sounding songs, I have heard from Fightstar. I call this track the summer song on the album as I hear a lot of Daniel Johns influence on this one. “Colours Bleed to Red” gets back to the basic “Grand Uni/One Day Son” Fightstar that we know and love; Heavy guitars and a very fast paced chorus in this song with Al’s high guitar parts reminiscent of “Hazy Eyes.” A “Deathcar” style bridge on this one. Woah! “This Whisperer” is the Muse-like track on the album which has a dance-like beat to it with hook-laden choruses and one of my favorite Fightstar tracks; Could be the next single in my opinion. “Mercury Summer” is next keeping the vibe of the album which is by far a great song, another MySpace one you can check out. Then we get to “Give Me the Sky.” Huge ambient tones most reminiscent to “Mono,” but still different. The Cure-like verses open into a crescendo of double picked guitars and a wide array of keyboard, Charlie turns up the emotion on this one. This will go down in one of my all time favorite tracks. You even hear a “Start up the clocks” line. The later half of the album gets into the heavier side. “Chemical Blood” is next with a nasty heavy guitar and violin at the start. This is the most “Diorama” sounding one that is very heavy. “Tonight We Burn” is another slower track with electronics that Al takes most of the lead on this one. Al’s vocals have really matured on this album and sound great. “Domacles” starts with an eerie piano and kicks into screaming and pounding with a great metal overtones. Last is “Follow Me Into The Darkness” which is slow and ambient filled with piano and could be in the credits of a movie and a huge ending like Fightstar was always great at. The piano is a great addition to this eerie ballad. Radio friendly songs mixed with raw heaviness that makes Fightstar one of the best modern rock acts of today. “Be Human” shows a new side of the band with a more mainstream edge. Hopefully we will see this album pushed to a bigger audience as I think Fightstar has the potential to be one of the biggest bands in the genre as I think it will do great in the USA if promoted well. Great job from the band once again never disappointing. Buy it April and support this great band. |

Massive Update
Hey guys.
Well we had to have a big update sooner or later,
Right we'll kick off with the new single and album, The New single 'Mercury Summer' will be released on the 6th of April followed by the album 'Be Human' on the 20th April.Both Artwork can be seen below this update area along with upcoming tracklistings and already confirmed tracklistings. More info on them TBC.
The Official Fightstar forum is now down for a few days as the band are upgrading and adding new artwork etc to corrospond with the new releases. also the site will be having a re modification over there shortly after the new forum launch.
I WILL be working pretty shortly on getting The English way and Mercury Summer videos up for downloiad in the videos section, (NAV > FIGHTSTAR>OFFICIAL VIDEOS)
I have uploaded the Affiliates/Links page under site area on this page. also pottered around abit here and there within the site.
The New liquid room gallery is under construction and will be available within the next few months I should imagine. so Keep an eye out for the link for that ;).
So with a new tour announced we are looking for site teamers, please see (BAND ELITE> TEAMERS) for more info on how you can get involved and help the site to be in the chance to grab some free prizes from us. And they're some very good prizes up for grabs including, merch, albums, singles and even GIG tickets to see fightstar at their next upcoming date close to your home.

So for the first time ever Fstar Live is going to be doing a live chat for all users who use this site as their fightstar source, to talk everything fightstar from new to old. to find out answer through asking questions to myself and others.

Fightstar mainman to co-host Katie P's rockshow
Fightstar vocalist Charlie Simpson will be co-hosting the XFM Rock Show live this Saturday night (February 21) with Kerrang!'s Katie P for a special four-hour celebration of British Rock Music.
"I am seriously excited about being invited to co-host the XFM Rock Show with Katie P," says Simpson. "We will be playing some storming classics, airing some newer talent, and showcasing the very best of British rock - highlighting just how much musical brilliance this nation has to offer."
"What's more," adds the frontman, "We might, if the mood takes us, even chuck in a little acoustic session too.... A one off treat for all who tune in!"
Also on this week's show, Katie P will have the exclusive first play of Malefice's new track End Of Days, a live session from Welsh newcomers Attack! Fightstar have just announced a 12 date tour with special guests from IN CASE OF FIRE and LARUSO. Dates can be seen to the left of the home page <<<<.
The lads have recently finished full work with Producer Carl (Laruso) on the new 3rd Album entitled 'BE HUMAN'.

The English way official video can be seen on all good rock channels, or on this sites flash player along with Colours Bleed (Album Demo) which will be on the album asthe final full mixed version Colours Bleed To Red.

NEW BETA V1.0
Welcome.
Just like to say a big thankyou to all the fans that have used this site as a source of information for Fightstar and I hope you enjoy every second with us in the up and coming future.
As you can clearly see the site has been down for a considerable amount of time as, as usual I get rather bored with how it looks and have new idea's and features. which in my eyes is not a bad thing as I progress my knowledge onto bigger things.
The band are very dorment at the moment so not much news floating about the domain, so its just a case of members and fans won't be visible until their is news. everyone will come out of the wood work when things are happening this is the norm.
So I'd just like to say thanks for been patient and hope you enjoy the new layout. If you have any problems as you can see in the top left hand corner their stands a Support Ticket image, click that and enter your subject etc. This will alarm me, this could be used for many things, such as wanting to find something on the site, a question you need help with about the band, and a clear error you notice within the site, such as a date missing link etc.
