Brief overview :
Charlie Simpson of Fightstar first created the band 5 and a half years ago, after meeting fellow friend and band member Alex Westaway through a party at his sisters house.
The two of them jammed a few favourite covers together and then was persuaded to carry on further and write up a few lyrics themselves. one being Too Close To Sun that was never officially released and another called Mono which is on the Ep (They Liked You Better When You Were Dead).

Charlie at the time being in a current UK hit band already decided after seeing his brother, Will Simpson (of Brigade) play live that he was in the wrong music business and wanted to stretch out his abilitys in music further to become a rock artist.

He has progessed so much over this short period of time and took so much for one shot at being successful in his career, and proving to those who once tagged him as Charlie from that pop band to a fully fledged rock artist.

Charlie is heading for new challenges and if its anything from whats already come from him then fans and people alike are in for a real treat for the future.

He is a very tall polite guy and is more than happy to talk to people given the time that he has to do this. So be considerate if you don't always get to meet him the first time as he is very busy and gives as much time as he possibly can.
