Orange Film interviews the cast about Eclipse
Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed talk about some of their experiences of shooting the Twilight franchise. Hunky stars Kellan Lutz and Alex Meraz talk about Eclipse – and some of their craziest fan experiences. Newcomers Booboo Stewart and Xavier Samuel talk about some of their experiences of shooting Eclipse… and Booboo confesses his weirdest fan experience. Director David Slade talks about some of the challenges of bringing the third Twilight movie, Eclipse, to the big screen.
Can you believe, looking back to the first film, that this franchise has become what it’s now become?
Ashley Greene: No, I don’t think any of could have predicted how big this would become. I certainly understand why it has, because the book series is incredible, and it kind of takes you into this while other world. But I think at the time we were doing Twilight, it really had this independent feel to it and we were just really happy to be working on a project. I think each time we’re very pleasantly surprised at just how passionate the fans are and how excited they get over this. How did you get involved in Eclipse?
Booboo Stewart: I was actually involved with the Walt Disney Group a long time ago and had some friends from that. A friend called me and said there was thing on MySpace about the casting of the character Seth in the next book, so we talked about it a bit. Luckily, I got in for an audition and I was the last to be seen in the country for the call-backs. So, thank God I got the part. Everyone always asks if I had to act like a wolf, but I didn’t. I don’t think I would have gotten the part if I did.

Popsugar interviews Melissa Rosenberg about Breaking Dawn
Now that Eclipse has hit theaters and broken box office records, Twilight fans are already anxiously awaiting the next onscreen chapter in Bella and Edward’s love story: Breaking Dawn. We talked exclusively to Melissa Rosenberg, the screenwriter behind all of the Twilight films, to find out what we can expect from the final two installments. She weighed in on whether or not Bella’s childbirth scene will make it to the screen, shared her most surprising fan moment, and dished on her creative relationship with Stephenie Meyer.
PopSugar: How did you feel about the decision to split Breaking Dawn into two movies?
Melissa Rosenberg: Relief, actually, because it was going to be quite a challenge to condense such a large book into one movie. That’s always the challenge with all of these and, more so, Breaking Dawn. Having a little more room to breathe is nice . . . on the other hand, there’s also the challenge of making sure there’s enough to fill two movies.PS: We’ve heard there are some scenes you want to avoid showing on screen in Breaking Dawn. For example, Bella giving birth. Can you tell us why?
MR: That was a misquote. The childbirth — all the scenes, I feel — should be on screen. I think perhaps what I was referring to was, would we actually see Edward’s teeth through the placenta? I don’t think so. I don’t think we need to see that, and if someone needs to see that, I think they should take a look at that. [Laughs.] I believe it will be implied, but I don’t think we’ll see teeth in the placenta.

‘Eclipse’ has created a new star in Xavier Samuel
When Australian actor Xavier Samuel shipped off an audition tape to Twilight producers, insta-fame seemed oceans away.
“It’s kind of strange because you send them off into oblivion and you don’t know if anyone watches them,” says Samuel, 26.
That was last year.
Fast-forward to the Eclipse premiere, where thousands of fans are not only screaming but are screaming for him. “It’s kind of 360 degrees of hysteria,” Samuel says just hours before the Los Angeles premiere of the third film installment of Stephenie Meyer’s blockbuster series. “The sound (of Twilight’s fans) does really knock you off your feet.”

Robert talks about Eclipse, Breaking Dawn and more
Film.com interviewed Robert Pattinson, check it out.
Cole Haddon: First question: What part of your costume helps you transform into the character of Edward Cullen quickest?
Robert Pattinson: Probably the contact lenses, because it makes me miserable as soon as I put them in. That’s what creates sort of the pouting and brooding character. You’re just like, “Ugh!”
CH: There’s a lot more action in Eclipse. Did you have to prepare any differently for that?
RP: I guess I had to learn how to run properly. In the last two, I’ve always run with a kind of limp-skip, and I had to sort of look like I could run more solidly this time. So I spent a lot of time on a giant treadmill, like one of those wheels mice run around, and got filmed doing it to improve my form. I guess that was one of the big things.

The Ministry interview with Billy Burke
The Ministry has a new interview with Billy Burke:
Ministry of Gossip: So this is the third time around playing Bella’s dad. Are you and Kristen on autopilot at this point?
Billy Burke: We sort of jumped right in from the get-go. We naturally have a similar relationship [to Charlie and Bella], you know, we don’t bring a lot of baggage. But I feel like she could take care of me. She’s a very strong and solid individual.
MoG: You’re a fan favorite, but we don’t see many photos of you grocery shopping or working out. How do you avoid the attention?
BB: It happens once in a while on the street, but I’m really not recognizable without the Charlie mustache.
